Rubik's Cube is a 3 dimensional colour combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian Professor Erno Rubik.
Originally called the Magic Cube, it made its international launch in 1980 when it was renamed the Rubik's Cube. The Rubik's Cube is incredibly addictive and has fascinated fans around the world ever since its arrival in the 1980's. There are 43 quintillion possible combinations, but there is only 1 solution!
The Rubik's Cube celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2014 and to this day it is still a hugely known and used puzzle worldwide, whilst remaining the world's top selling puzzle of all time.
